Kanya Welfare Organization joined hands with Team Raksha, an initiative of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA), led by President Dr. Kushaljit Singh Sodhi and Secretary Dr. Ajay Gulati, to host a heartfelt evening dedicated to care, dignity, and togetherness. The event, held on September 26, at the Kanya campus, brought warmth to nearly 80 children through the distribution of winter jackets, along with sanitary supplies for teenage girls, ensuring both comfort and confidence as they step into the season ahead.

The event aimed to emphasize the importance of Education. Awareness about AIDS and drug abuse, as
well as fostering meaningful conversations between CHIRIA members and the young beneficiaries.

A team of 10 doctors associated with Raksha visited the campus, including Dr. Ravinder Kaur, Dr. Sandhya Dhankar, and Dr. Tulika Singh, along with other branch members, under the leadership of Dr.
Shweta Goyal, President, Team Raksha, who interacted warmly with the children and encouraged them to nurture big dreams for the future. Their presence turned the 1.5-hour event into not just a donation drive but a celebration of community, compassion, and hope.

The evening concluded with light refreshments, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude from Ms. Nishi Kapoor,
who emphasized that gestures like these create ripples of change that last well beyond a single day. The
collaboration stood as a reminder that when communities come together, small acts of kindness can
create brighter, stronger futures for children.
