Tiny Hands, Big Promises: Kanya’s Children Plant Trees on World Environment Day

June 5 @ 3:58 pm

In a world that often forgets to pause and care, a group of young children from Kanya, a social welfare initiative by Knockout, came together to make a quiet yet powerful promise to the Earth.

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the children gathered outside their tuition centre at the Knockout Head Office, each holding a tiny sapling with wide eyes and hopeful hearts. Guided by their teachers and mentors, the kids planted the saplings with their own hands, gently pressing the soil.

What made the gesture even more touching was the commitment made by the children to water and care for their saplings every single day. For them, these plants aren’t just part of an event, they’re now part of their routine, their pride, and their lives.

At Kanya, every initiative is rooted in love, learning, and life. And this Environment Day, those roots quite literally touched the Earth.
